Exciting to say that MWD has been Mobilized. Each month over one thousand of people visit via SmartPhones such as iPhone G1, MyTouch etc..
I check MWD with my phone as well once or twice a week, just to see how it works on phone and also to see what others have wrote on MWD.
I know how painful it is to be on EDGE / 3G and have one page load for over 30 seconds or more.
Well not anymore, with MWD being mobilized I tested it on Storm 2, iPhone, Droid and G1 and page loaded in less than 10 seconds for me even with images! Mobilized website has no Ads and we do not have plans to put anyway, keeping it clean as possible will load faster on your mobile browser and that is what we wanted.
We are actually proud to have mobilized blog, because we are one of the first blogs that did that. Many things are going to change in 2010 and one of them is that more and more visitors like your self will adapt to browse internet via cell phone more often.
Update: There is no “special” site that you have to visit in order to get mobile version of MWD. Our blog is smart enough to tell who views it from Desktop, Laptop or Mobile and resizes it self automatically or changes appearance.
