Pricing
They’ll be released at $499 for the 16 GB. That’s much lower than the rumors were guesstimating. To get 32 GB you’ll shell out $600 and for 64 GB $700. 3G is $130 extra and you can get a few different data plans through AT&T.
I could go on and on about the apps. You can run the 140,000 apps currently available in the App Store. Apple has been demoing them at the event and you will be able to do everything from watch movies, play games, take care of business and even draw on your iPad. What excites me about this phase in tablet technology is that the operating system isn’t static; as developers create new apps that you can download you can have great control over what your iPad actually is. The possibilities are pretty far-reaching as it currently stands.
My question is: how will this change how we use PCs? Will they be primarily used for applications that use a ton of memory?
