Rumors started around blogsphere that Yahoo will shut down MyBlogLog in January of 2010. I am not so positive about that rumor, but you never know. One thing that upsets me is that Yahoo paid $10 Million back in January 2007.
MyBlogLog is very powerful social networking website which allows bloggers to embed the widget on their blog. MyBlogLog widget shows latest person visited and also allows bloggers to track traffic, send message to others that joined their blog community. I personally stopped using MyBlogLog since Yahoo took over for no apparent reason, I just thought “THIS (rumor)” could happen, as I am very familiar with Yahoo and Google shutting things down year or two down the road.
Well my friends there goes $10 Million dollars just like that! Pufff…
I hate to just think about, how many people would not starve to death if those $10 Millions would be spent in charity or maybe Christmas Gifts for those that really need them.
Well I hope it’s going to be just a rumor as I am pretty sure blogsphere is going to protest.
