I speak and write 5 languages and it’s greatest gift of my mind. Learning a foreign language online was being a part of my learning process but then again communicating with others speed up my process.
To learn a foreign language online you have lot’s of available tools, most of you know search engine: Google but have you used their language tools? Google Language tools provide you simple text and web translation in many languages. I use Google Language Tool mostly to translate Chinese websites because I love to read few technology blogs and what is happening with technology around the world.

Rosetta Stone is world leading language software which you can install on your PC or Mac and learn it from there. I have used Rosetta Stone to get my Russian language going again and now I speak Russian really good. If there is a software to learn a foreign language than Rosetta Stone is the one.
If you really want to know, I speak Bosnian, Slovenian, Russian, German and English (as you can read). The only problem I have with learning multiple language is that you make lots of mistakes in writing or even speaking. I went to my country (Slovenia) just this summer after 11 years. And not speaking my language on daily basis it took me full two days to get my dialect back and also some words. I was thinking in English but speaking Slovenian and that is one downside of speaking multiple languages. Same thing when I was in Germany (That is where I grew up), I tried to ask few questions in German and I just mixed it so much with English words so I gave up lol. But overall after being few hours in Berlin (where I use to live) and in Frankfurt I got my thoughts fixed in German and became more fluent.
Well those are one of the things you might did not know about me. My next language to learn is Italian and French ( I already know how to speak Italian but not as perfect as English or German).
